Say hello to Stefy, a band with the energy of No Doubt, and an incredibly sexy front woman, Stefy Rae, who combines the brashness of Pink and the commanding stage presence of Debbie Harry.
Rae is bold and captivating as the focal point of this electro-infused rock band. Stefy's influences range from pop to new wave to electro and punk.
Whether singing about moving on from a torrid relationship, getting over a boy who is as fake as "Orange Crush," or lamenting about a pair of teens in Orange County who lose their innocence too early, Rae's melodic voice has a subtle force, making it the only aspect of this band that isn't totally in-your-face. With Sean Meyer (guitar), Jason Gaviati (keys) and Andreas Brobjer (drums), Stefyunleashes a barrage of pop hooks and electric rock energy on their album and on stage.
Their debut single, "Chelsea", is one of the most infectious songs I've heard in a while. It doesn't hurt that they sample the Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams.
It's like green tea. It's good for you!

Britney Spears is back in rehab. Sources say the singer has checked into an in-patient facility in Los Angeles. We're told the move came after family members, including her mom, pressed her to check in.
Spears entered the facility today (Feb 20). After TMZ posted the news, a rep for the singer told PEOPLE "Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today(Feb 20). We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."
Last week, Spears checked herself into a rehab facility in Antigua but checked out less than 24 hours later.

A super smiley Britney Spears arrived at LAX from Miami on Friday afternoon after a brief visit at rocker Eric Clapton’s rehab facility, Crossroads Centre in Antigua. Britney, 25, spent less than one day there before checking herself out and returning to L.A.
Around 7PM that same day, Britney paid a visit to Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana, Calif. to shave her head completely bald. Salon owner Esther Tognozzi witnessed the entire transformation and heard Britney say, “‘My mom is going to freak.” See video footage of Britney Spears with her newly shaven head here.
It’s over now, but there was an eBay listing for Britney’s hair.
And the question I want answered: What does Kevin Federline think of his ex-wife-to-be’s radical new do?
Details are still a bit hazy - like her state of mind - but, according to reports.....this is what went down!
Caving in to pressure from family, friends and business associates Britney Spears checked her fucked up self into rehab this week (apparently in the Bahamas).
Then, less than 24 hours later, proving what a total idiot she is, the hard-pAArtying mother of two checked herself right out of the treatment center and is whispered to be in hiding in Los Angeles.
Two of my favorite girl groups - the Sugababesand Girls Aloud - have teamed up in collaboration for a cover of the Aerosmith / Run DMC classic "Walk This Way".

The Scissor Sisters' new video for "She's My Man" is shiny and new, like a disco ball! It's got some very cool special "effects." Directed by Japanese artist Nagi Noda, the video uses the groundbreaking technique known as "Kuroko". This style of Japanese puppetry entails stagehands dressed all in black, manipulating both props and characters to create the illusion that camera angles and perspectives are changing. Despite what you're seeing (or what you think you're seeing) the video was filmed all in one take, no editing,no camera movement, no slow-motion or special effects.
Hello everyone, As for the treatment [ex-boyfriend] Olivier [Martinez] has received of late, I can only reiterate that he simply does not deserve the kind of harassment or vitriol to which he has been subjected. For someone whom I have enormous love and respect, and communicate with, it is so grossly unfair: to demonize an honest man. I would ask of you, my fans, to show your support for both Olli and myself as a separation is never easy.

If a proposed bill passes in New York, you won't see pedestrians in Manhattan bopping along to their iPods.
State Sen. Carl Kruger is planning to introduce legislation to ban the use of gadgets -- iPods, Blackberrys, cell phones, etc. -- while crossing city streets. Careful Sen. Kruger, you don't want to cross Steve Jobs!
"We're talking about people walking, sort of tuned in and in the process of being tuned in, tuned out," Kruger told WCBS-TV in New York. "They're walking into speeding cars. They're walking into buses. They're walking into one another and it's creating a number of fatalities that have been documented right here in the city."
Kruger's bill calls for a $100 fine, and would apply only to big cities in New York state, which already has a law banning the use of cell phones while driving, unless a hands-free device is used.
Lets REWIND back to 2004 and watch the music video for "This Love" the second single from the hit album, Songs About Jane by Maroon 5. The video has been called a steamy, raunchy, voyeuristic exercise, showing lead singer Adam Levine and his then-girlfriend, Kelly McKee in various positions on a bed, simulating sexual intercourse. The video was considered so oversexed that it was banned from MTV for a time, due to the 2004 Justin Timberlake/Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction. MTV banned the "sexiest" videos airing at the time. Despite the ban, which limited the band's exposure on MTV, the video still earned the Best New Artist award at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2004.
