Lily Allen has been signed up as the new face and body of Agent Provocateur lingerie.

The singer - who recently slimmed down from a UK dress size 12 to a size 8 - will follow in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Dita Von Teese when her campaign for the company, shot last weekend, is released next spring.

An insider said: "The owners of Agent Provocateur, Joe Corre and Serena Rees, are delighted. They feel her natural look will appeal to a lot of women. She's in amazing shape since she lost the weight, and the pictures of her are absolutely incredible."

Lily - who reportedly received a whopping six-figure sum for the deal - has put her weight loss down to hypnosis.

She said recently: "After the hypnotism I want to go to the gym every day otherwise I feel really bad. I just want to get more toned and healthy. I'm really good at the moment - I've never been happier."

And the 22-year-old singer also credited new boyfriend Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons for helping her shed the weight, giggling: "Me losing weight is down to love. I probably shouldn't say the word love, actually. I'm in 'like'. We like each other a lot!"

But Lily insists she will never take her weight loss to extremes and has vowed to always stay a healthy weight.

She said: "I'll never be a size 0 catwalk model. I have absolutely no interest in that, at all."

Lily Allen Slams Victoria Beckham

Just when I thought Lily Allen had renounced her outspoken ways here she is now trashing Victoria Beckham for being such a media whore.

The 'Smile' singer is sick of seeing the Spice Girl on the cover of all the magazines when she has nothing to promote but herself.

Lily fumed: "It does make me laugh when I see pictures of Victoria Beckham on the front of some magazines. I think, 'You are not promoting anything, you don't need the money, so it's all about being famous.'

"I can never imagine my life being about being famous. I make music, that's what I'm there for. I would never go out and court publicity."

The 22-year-old star also hit out at the notion stars like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan should be role models to their fans.

She added to You magazine: "I don't understand this idea that people like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan are regarded as role models for young girls. I mean, just look at them, why would you want to look up to them? What happened to mothers, sisters and aunts as role models?"

Lily has often said that she doesn't want to be seen a role model herself.

Despite her comments, Lily claims she is no longer interested in attacking her fellow celebrities.

The British pop star explained: "I find that as I am happier and happier I can't bring myself to bitch anymore.

"I've gone completely the other way and I think it must be because I am so happy and confident in myself."

I'm sure this won't be the last time we hear of her trashing other artists. That girl just can't keep her mouth shut, and I love her for it.

Lily Allen Gives It To Bush

Lily Allen had some choice dirty words for President Bush and U.S. immigration on Saturday during her performance at the V Festival in Stafford, England.

"This next one is about people who are awkward on the train, U.S. immigration officials and George Bush in general," she said before the song "Everything's Just Wonderful."

The outburst, in which she referred to Bush as a "f-cking c-nt," came just days after Lily was forced to scrap U.S. dates and an appearance at the Video Music Awards in light of the revocation of her working visa in the U.S.

"I've been banned from America. That's nice. Oh well, that means I can't go back there. Good," Allen said, according to MTV UK.

Lily Allen Cancels Shows With Doctor's Note

Lily Allen has canceled gigs once again, this time because she has strep throat and sinusitis, she says in a post on her MySpace blog.

"I'm back in London eating my mum's chicken soup, 'cause I'm afraid the traveling has caught up with me," she wrote in the post.

"Before anyone starts trying to accuse me of neglecting my fans, I want to apologise and say how sorry I am, but I can't risk causing any permanent damage."

Defending herself further, the singer also posted the above picture of her holding her doctor's note.

Lily Allen Banned From The US

Lily Allen has been banned from performing in the US after her work visa was revoked when she was stopped at Los Angeles airport.

The 22-year-old singer was detained at the airport for five hours over her arrest in London in March for an alleged clash with a photographer.

Lily had flown from Australia to the US to attend the MTV Video Music Awards launch in Las Vegas.

A spokesperson for the singer said: "Lily was questioned and her work visa was revoked. She was detained for five hours but not strip searched. Understandably she was upset by it."

Allen told the Daily Mirror that she was trying her best to get a new work visa for her US tour in September.

"I am trying everything I can to sort this out. It is my intention to play my American dates in September. This depends on the authorities granting me a new work visa."

"I want my fans to know that I will do everything I can to be back in America in September. I don't like letting my fans down and this is a situation that I am sure we can sort," she said.

Lilly Allen To Quit Music?

Lily Allen has denied rumours that she has a big entourage to do her every bidding while on tour - and she doesn’t stay in fancy hotels either.

In a new documentary about her recent pop sucecss titled "Lily Allen: Still Alright?", she says she only has two members of staff - an assistant who shares her hotel rooms and a guitar teacher: “Do you think they’d pay for me to have a make up artist to go round the world with me?"

“[And] I stay in Holiday Inns - they’re really flash.”

She also reiterates her plans to get out of the music business in a few years: “It’s about being happy and living in the day. It’s not going to last forever and in three years or five years time I’m going to be living in London looking for another job."

“Most people who want to be a pop star really want to be a pop star, but it’s not something I want to be doing for the next 15 years.”

“I want to get married and have children and live in the countryside. It has never been about being a product for me, it is about being a singer and a songwriter. I don’t want to be a pop star.”

The documentary aired this weekend on Britain's Chanel 4. I'll try to post it as soon as I find it.

Gossip: Lily Allen Arrested

Bad girl Lily Allen has been arrested for allegedly attacking a photographer earlier in the year.

Lily was formally arrested during an pre-arranged meeting at the police station in central London yesterday over the incident near the Wardour Club in Soho, London in March.

A police spokesperson confirmed the arrest and that she has been “released on bail to return in late July.”

"Sorry Current mood: Better

Hi guys , I'm sorry if I worried anyone with the blog I wrote yesterday . I was feeling pretty sorry for myself , I've been reading all your comments and they have made me realise there is more to life than being thin ! So thank you . I think I was just having a hard time last week . After reading cheryl tweedys comments branding me a "chick with a dick". I was feeling pretty low and aswell as that, some of you might know I launched my clothing line for new look last tuesday , and seeing my picture in so many newspapers next to kate moss' , made me feel grotesque momentarily . I know its a silly way to feel and I am incredibly proud of myself and my achievements over the past year, there are so many good things about my life . I really am incredibly lucky . I guess it shows how much of an effect the media can have on us young ladies . As for the amy winehouse bit , someone sent me a link to a picture blog where there were some paparazzi shots of my brother and I , and there were hundreds of comments from mean sad people , saying I was a fat ugly bitch and how much better amy is than I . Usually I ignore these things , but in my heightened emotional state I let them get the better of me . My mum has come out here to keep me company and I feel much better now , I sha'nt be getting any surgery , instead I will be eating lots of bread and pasta and thinking about what to write about for the next album . I really am touched and was quite surprised at the reaction the blog received and it definitely has restored my faith in humanity . I know I've said bad things about people in the past , though the majority of them have been blown wayyyy out of proportion , but this i mean Cheryl if you're reading this , I may not be as pretty as you but at least I write and SING my own songs without the aid of autotune . I must say taking your clothes off , doing sexy dancing and marrying a rich footballer must be very gratifying , your mother must be so proud , stupid bitch ."

And in case that wasn’t personal enough, speaking on E! Radio on Tuesday, Lily added that Cheryl (Girls Aloud band member) has “a really stupid accent”, is “so thick” and “she’s a horrible, nasty, disgusting human being. I hate her guts.”

Gossip: Lily Loves Kate Moss

Over the past few weeks, we'd been led to believe there was a bitter rivalry between high-street fashion queens Lily Allen (fighting on behalf of New Look) and Kate Moss (giving it her all for Topshop).

In fact, I could have sworn Lily had launched various "outspoken attacks" on her Oxford Street opposite - accusing her, for example, of "only designing clothes for skinny girls". But, hey, what do I know? I had it all wrong! In fact, Lily loves Kate. The reason? The supermodel once saved her from a bunch of bullies.

"I only have nice things to say about Kate," Lily revealed during a frankly shocking interview on This Morning. "She defended me at Glastonbury two years ago. These girls were beating me up and cut my ear with a beer can. I had two black eyes. Kate was the only one who stood and said, 'Leave her alone.'"

What a heroine! Meanwhile, in a slightly ironic twist of fate, it seems Lily could be facing assault charges for allegedly punching photographer Kevin Rush outside London's Groucho club in March. Police say enquiries are still continuing into the incident, but Lily has been sent a letter "inviting" her to go to her local police station for questioning.

So what happened? "She hit me even though I had put my camera down," Kevin claims. "I turned to the right and she hit me in the face. My nose was bleeding but I didn't realise until someone pointed it out. I was just so stunned I could not believe it. I couldn't understand why she thought she should be allowed to do that."

Gee - where's Super-Kate when you need her, eh Kev?

Lily Allen's New Look Fashion Line 'Lily Loves

Remember when I told you about Lily Allen's upcoming 'Lily Loves' fashion line? Well here it is, Lily Allen unveiled her designs for British high street clothing chain New Look.

Dresses, jewellery and footwear designed by the outspoken British singer will go on sale in Britain. The singer often pairs long prom-style dresses and ballgowns with trainers. Her "Lily Loves" collection features dresses, high-heeled shoes, patterned trainers and jewellery. Allen says Kate Moss' new clothing range is only for "perfect people".

Allen, who has designed her own clothing range for high street chain New Look, says her line will be for everybody, not just skinny people. Lily fumed to Grazia magazine: "Kate' s clothes are just for skinny, perfect girls. I won't be buying any. "I couldn't get into those tiny hotpants if I tried, and if I did I'd look ridiculous. The hard thing is to get everybody of every size to look fantastic. That's the real deal. Fashion should be a laugh and be for everybody. My dresses will suit anyone, whether they're tall or small, or fat or thin."
