Amy Winehouse Granted US Visa

Embattled pop star Amy Winehouse has been granted a visa allowing her to enter the United States but will still not be making any of her previously scheduled appearances, her publicist confirmed to MTV News on Wednesday (November 7).

The "Rehab" singer was set to appear at the mtvU Woodie Awards on Thursday and as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" (which is now in reruns anyway, due to the writers' strike) this weekend.

Amy had previously been refused entry to the US after she, husband Blake Fielder-Civil and stylist Alex Foden were fined for possession of marijuana in Norway during her European tour last month.

Amy will next visit the States in January to kick off her U.S. tour.
