Madonna To Appear on 'Extras'?

Madonna may be set to star in the last episode of the hit British TV comedy Extras created by Rick Gervais and writing partner Stephen Merchant. The creators plan to end the program's two series run with a star-studded Christmas special this year. A host of A-list stars have appeared in the series, including David Bowie, Robert De Niro, and Chris Martin. Gervais and Merchant want the show to bow out in style with a guest-appearance from Madonna. According to reports, Gervais has been in contact with the Material Girl since they met backstage at the Live8 concert in London in 2005, and a deal is almost complete.
