TripThe Light Fantastic is the long-awaited third solo album Sophie Ellis-Bextor. The new album arrives after a life-changing break during which she married Richard Jones, bassist with The Feeling and gave birth to her son, Sonny.Trip The Light Fantastic sees her on sparkling form – she says of the album, "it's an invitation to dance!" Having worked with some of pop's finest names on the album – Cathy Dennis, Fred Schnieder from The B52s, Dan Gillespie Sells from The Feeling and Xenomania. This latest work was preceded by the dance hits "Catch You" and "Me and My Imagination"
'Me and My Imagination' has just hit all of the UK's music channels, but you can watch Sophie Ellis Bextor 's cutting-edge and brilliantly neon video in all its glory right here. In a video webcast in February 2007, Sophie was asked if Sophie Muller would be directing the video for Me And My Imagination, however Sophie had broken her ankle and was unable to although it seems likely Sophie had been first choice. Nourizadeh Nima filmed the videoclip in West London. Sophie said in an interview that "The video’s kind of like a musical. It’s daylight in the verses and in the chorus it’s night and I’m dancing with neon lights".
After the success of "Catch You", we're now pleased to announce the arrival of the disco-flavoured follow-up single, "Me and My Imagination" as well as the much-anticipated third album from Sophie which will feature both tracks.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is a multi-platinum selling English pop singer and songwriter. Her music is a mixture of mainstream pop, indie, disco and 1980s electronic influences. This is my favourite album from her so far, I can't wait for her new album coming out in May 2007!
