A Message From Kylie

Hi everyone,I am currently working in various studios, writing and recording my tenth album.

I have to say, it has been very disheartening to learn that a number of the demos and recorded tracks I have worked on so far were stolen then placed onto the internet. We believe that the situation has been contained.

In any event, I am moving forward with the recording every day with the aim of making the best album I can. It is now over a year since I started making this album and the possibility that it might be finished with a release before Christmas is very exciting. (No promises though :)!)Love to you all, Kylie x

Kelly Clarkson has reportedly scrapped her new album after label bosses weren't impressed with the record. The 25-year-old singer suffered a scathing attack from Sony BMG chief Clive Davis after he heard the new tracks, reports British newspaper the Daily Star. A source at the record company revealed that "It was an extraordinary presentation. Clive was absolutely merciless in his criticism of Kelly. "She's one of the biggest priorities on the label and her new songs were savaged." The American Idol winner has been working on the follow up to 2005s best selling album Breakaway for 18 months, but has reportedly gone back to the studio to work on new tracks.

Gossip: Timberlake Offered Personal Support to Britney

Justin Timberlake and Pink were among the stars who secretly reached out to show their support to Britney Spears as the pop singer battled substance abuse in rehab. Friends claim Timberlake left a personal message for his ex-girlfriend after calling the Promises treatment center in Malibu, California where Britney was staying. A pal tells America's Life & Style magazine, "He wished her the best and told her to get healthy and come back as the Britney he knew." And Timberlake asked Spears' mother Lynn to keep him updated with the singer's progress. Pink and Mary J. Blige also called Promises to leave messages for Spears, who, under the center's rules, wasn't allowed to receive phone calls during her stay.

Music: Britney Spears' Comeback Mini-Concert

So all the recent rumours about Britney Spears ' comeback mini-concert turned out to be true. Brit took the stage late Tuesday at the House of Blues, making what is believed to be her first public concert appearance in nearly three years. Starting the five-song set with her debut single “Baby One More Time,” Brit was back in top form. The pop princess appeared onstage in boots, a sparkly pink bra top and a short skirt with her belly ring out. There's tons of amateur videos out there but this one's the only one that shows clips of all the songs she performed, sorry for the bad quality. Apparently she had to do the choreography herself because of a recent falling out with her regular choreographer Brian Friedman but word is that she ended up copying all his old choreographies anyways.

News: Paulina Rubio Weds Nicolas Vallejo Nagera

Mexican pop diva Paulina Rubio married Spanish businessman Nicolas Vallejo Nagera in a ceremony at Xcaret, an ecotourism park on Mexico's Caribbean coast. Wedding planner Becky Alazraki said the guests, including Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz and Puerto Rican soap opera actress Adamaris Lopez, weren't allowed to bring cell phones or any device that records image or sound to Monday's ceremony. "We won't even allow watches," Alazraki said. At least 150 security guards were on hand at Xcaret while dozens of reporters waited, hoping to catch a glimpse of the couple. The religious ceremony was postponed for at least an hour until paparazzi in four helicopters flying overhead left the area. Earlier Monday, workers placed white roses and orchids throughout the park and floating candles in an underground river that runs below the La Isla salon, where the reception was held.
