Usher Gets Married

Usher has finally got married to stylist Tameka Foster.

The wedding, which took place on Friday (August 3), was called off the previous week, with rumours suggesting it was due to the fact the singer's mother objected to the union.

The pair, who are expecting their first child together, were eventually married in a simple ceremony held in the office of Usher's lawyer.

The original wedding was set to be held at the Long Island home of Def Jam head LA Reid.

Commenting on the initial cancellation of the marriage, Usher told MTV: "As of right now we don't have a date, but we will let you know when we do. Everybody's fine. Tameka and the baby are fine."

Sugababes Announce New Single

Sugababes are set to release their new single "About You Now" next month.

The song, out on September 24, was recorded with Kelis collaborator Dr Luke.The track will be he first single from the band's fifth studio album, which is also set to be released in the autumn.

The as-yet untitled record will be the follow-up to last year's singles collection 'Overload'

Toronto has been named Spice City!

The Spice Girls gave fans worldwide to vote and pick another city for them to add to their upcoming tour, and Toronto took that honor.

We are delighted to be going to Toronto," the Spice Girls said in statement. "We have such incredible fans there and we are amazed at such a positive reaction. It's a great place and we can't wait to get back there."

Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria will play Toronto's "Spice City" show in January.

Christina Aguilera is Having a Girl!

Christina Aguilera will be welcoming a baby girl this winter, according to In Touch Weekly.

On July 25, Christina, who is about 18 weeks pregnant, had an ultrasound at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA.

The powerhouse singer found out that she’s having a girl with hubby Jordan Bratman and that her due date is December 15.

Christina also recently canceled two concerts because she was ordered to bed rest on July 29 after coming down with the flu.

The mom-to-be also revealed to UK’s In Style that she wants her kids to be bilingual.

Christina said, “I definitely want my children to know Spanish, that’s important. It’s something that I want to start speaking early on in the house, so I’m brushing up on my Spanish and taking out my lesson tapes on tour.”

Melanie Brown Files Paternity Petition

Melanie Brown aka Scary Spice announced at a press conference Wednesday that she has filed a paternity petition against Eddie Murphy to legally establish that he is the father of her son.

She is also seeking sole custody of the child and asking the court "to decide what is reasonable" in regards to child support.

Eddie's publicist, Arnold Robinson, said, “We don’t comment on Eddie’s personal life.”

Eminem Sues Apple

Eminem is suing Apple.

His publishing company Eight Mile Style and copyright manager Martin Affiliated are suing the company.

They claim the company can't sell Eminem's songs on iTunes because Universal didn't have the right to license them to Apple.

Eight Mile Style previously sued Universal when the company licensed his music to Apple for a 2004 ad and also to stop Eminem's ringtones from being sold online by Universal-licensed companies, reports Wired.
